Laura worked with Gina Leeper of the Western Baptist Hospital Foundation on the “Open Your Heart Kick up Your Heels” event on March 4 2010. A fashion show by Talbot ‘s started off the event as well as a speaker, Dr. Jacqueline Carter. A Pampered Palate provided lunch. Gina picked a great menu of Pork Loin, Red Wine/Fig Jam (Homemade), and Arugula sandwiches, Broccoli Salad and Kirchhoff’s Cookies. The lunches were served in Laura’s Favorite Green Bags!! It was a sell-out event with over 140 guests!! It was such a fun event! Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped to make the cute lunch bags!!
